Today’s mani is Polka Dots in the Nude and rightfully named so! I wanted to do something different with the polka dot mani. I applied my usual nail treatments as my base coats, and used Essie’s Where’s my Chauffer on my ring fingers and Profusion Nail Lacquer in Apricot. The fact that you could see your natural nails under the polka dots gives this manicure a nice twist and makes it a lot more interesting. I wanted something different and I definitely got it!
I used my dotting tool to make my dots but of you don’t have one, you could always use the ball point of a bobby pin or the tip of a pen.
I hope you guys enjoy this mani as much as I do! Stay tuned for my next post as it will be my first installment of my 2013 Favorites! It’s a bit late, but better late than never! Till next time!
Happy Saturday!! These are my festive Christmas tree nails!! I’m in love with this gorgeous red from Essie in Head Mistress. I think I found my perfect red. I have always made my ring finger my “Glitter” finger, but this time I changed it up a bit, and to be honest, I liked the way the manicured looked with the gold on the index finger. I used China Glaze in Gold Medal as a base and Sephora by O. P. I. in Only Gold for Me. For my Christmas tree I used the same red and E. L. F. Nail Varnish in Green Machine. The white base is China Glaze in Snow Me White. I really liked this mani and I hope you do too! Till next time! Happy Holidays!!
Hello! I have my Christmas Sweater Nails on today! I am in love with this mani! I saw Sally Hansen post a picture of this mani on their Instagram (@sally_hansen) a few days ago, and I fell in love. I tried recreating it as much as I could. My favorite part of this design? The raindeer! So cute! Took me two tries to get right but I finally succeeded. It would have been easier had I used acrylic paint but I stuck to my Milani Nail Art Stiper in White. For my red base color I used Essie’s Head Mistress and on my ring fingers I used Chika Nail Polish in Lilac Matte. I’ve never used that brand of polish before and I don’t remember where I got it from either. It truly is a beautiful matte red and it dries super fast. I’ll have to keep my eyes open for this brand.
Well, I hope you enjoy this mani as much as I do!
